With our fellow Baptists, we share the gospel of Jesus Christ in the Shenandoah Valley, the Virginia Commonwealth and throughout the world through diverse missions and outreach programs.
Woman's Missionary Union (WMU)
WMU seeks to provide opportunities for women to develop relationships, to be the body of Christ in the church and to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of others in the church and community.

Our Loving Service group provides acts of loving encouragement, comfort and sympathy for the distressed in our church and community. They meet the third Monday of each month.
FISH of Clarke County
We join an ecumenical band of Clarke County residents to minister to the troubled and needy in our area. Our support includes collecting for the FISH Food Bank and running the Clothing Bank each Saturday in October.
Community Missions with the Salvation Army
Teams of five to seven people from our church prepare and serve brunch at the Salvation Army in Winchester on the fourth Saturday of each month.
In the spring, 80-100 of us get together into work-teams and help others in our community. The teams and the work changes each year based on the needs of our neighbors: yard work, home repair, housecleaning, car safety checks, litter pick-up, hymn sings and visits at local nursing homes, cupcakes for our Community Service personnel (Fire and Rescue, Police, Postal Workers) and more. We held our first annual Operation Inasmuch Day on April 24, 2010. Read more about the latest Operation Inasmuch Day.
Each year, just before Thanksgiving, we use banks in the shapes of loaves of bread to collect pocket change every day for two weeks. We donate this money through the Baptist General Assembly of Virginia to fight World Hunger.
Holiday Food and Gift Baskets
We collect and deliver food and gifts for those less fortunate in our area at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Operation Christmas Child
Each year at Christmas, in coordination with Samaritan's Purse International Relief, we fill shoe boxes with gifts, toiletries and candy to send to children overseas (www.samaritanspurse.org).
Red Wagon Missions
Collects diapers, baby wipes and coupons. Delivered to Social Services to be distributed according to need.
BackPack School Program
Provides macaroni and cheese bowls to the community backpack program for Clarke County Schools.
WATTS Program (Winchester Area Temporary Thermal Shelter)
In January, we join the Clarke County Ministerial Association in providing food and shelter for the homeless for one week.
State/National Program Support
Our congregation supports the missions efforts of the Shenandoah Baptist Association, the Baptist General Association of Virginia and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. For more information or to participate in any of these programs, please contact the program leader or call the church office.
